Being a mom and grandmother, I have always found the best way to get our kids to try new foods and gain confidence in the kitchen is by including them in the kitchen. Making cookies or muffins, pancakes or popcorn, salads or fun veggie faces on their plates, kids LOVE being included in the preparing of food. The things they learn in the kitchen will last them a lifetime and empower them to continue eating healthy when they have their own families.
